Luxor -Felucca Ride...

DAY 3 (Afternoon)

We went for our Felucca ride. Felucca is a traditional wooden sailing boat used by the Egyptians. Sad, sad, the wind wasn't strong enough for sailing. The boy had to row the felucca instead. It was still fun being in such a traditional boat.
This boy on our felucca can really sing. It was very good fun when the another 3 men climbed over from the other felucca and sang for us. [**Picture of Felucca was 'retrieved from Wikipedia. If it is not allowed, I'll be more than happy to remove the picture. TQ]

The scenes along the river Nile. Great scenes I would say. Notice the camels by the river side?

Another thing unique in this city. The (sub) power stations. Here in the picture is a sample. They have ancient drawings on them too. I find it so fascinating. According to our guide, it is only done here in Luxor. Luxor was the capital in ancient Egypt. :o)
