Step Pyramid, Mit Rahina Museum...

DAY 7
Train pulled up at El Giza Station. What a rocking good sleep!!!

The Step Pyramid of Saqqara. This pyramid was built by Imhotep for the Pharoah Djoser.

Our next visit was the Mit Rahina Museum. Memphis (Mit Rahina as it is known today) is the first capital of Egypt. The ruins found here were fenced up and made into a museum.

We were told our next stop will be a Carpet Weaving School and then lunch. Yippeee...:o)
