Please pray for Lucien (sorry name is LUCIAN)

I have permission to repost this. Click to read more. When you say your prayers, say one for Lucian too. TQ. Tsk....tsk...The person who did this is not just a monster as over here (in Malysia) we will call this person an animal. How can anyone be so sick as to do this? I don't know in what way but the person will be prosecuted. Keep in touch with the blog to find out more.

I wonder what will happen to the person if this were to happen in Malaysia. ***I received feedback from a reader that the fine for such act is only RM100! Tsk...tsk...:o(

Abuse and torture of innocent and voiceless animals will not end in this world (anywhere for that matter) as long as inhumane homosapiens exist. Anyway my prayers go for the speedy recovery of this poor dog. Hope its owner/s will face legal action

Not only should they face legal action but must rot in hell!

This is only a fraction of 100s of thousands of abuse/torture of animal cases reported. It happened in Malaysia 5 yrs ago, a GSD (Sheena) starved to death by one who got away with a peanut RM100 fine. There are people torching animals alive (just go to spca seberang perai facebook where someone witnessed a neighbour burning a puppy and could not do anything about it. It happened to me once,my neighbour had a pitbull too and another breed which were underfed. The pitbull had an untreated maggot wound (a hole at the pelvic area where a dehusked coconut could fit in. I reported to a local authority but was dumbfounded by the question "What do you expect us to do?" After much coaxing and talking, unhappily a team of so called rescuers were sent to the house (don't know what transpired). The next day, the dogs were deported in a lorry by the owner (god knows where to and what happened). If they were rescued the same day, the dogs would have lived to be rehomed. It's heart wrenching to hear about such cases when you cannot report because it falls on deaf ears and blind eyes. There are no regulations to protect these poor animals. Nobody is bothered for animals so to say..............

I'm also following the blog and found out that he is recuperating. He has put on a few pounds within days and the dog is now able to lift up his head after blood transfusion. The vet is so dedicated and they are providing round the clock care for this poor dog. I'm amazed by the care they provide for this poor dog (kudos to them). How i wish we have Malaysian vets with the same heart. My prayers go for this poor doggie to survive and for the owner to reach hell real fast. Devi, Bayan Lepas

Hi, TQ for refreshing my memory. YES! I remember Sheena n the RM100 fine. There was a petition sent round protesting the fine. It brings more than sadness felt for those animals you mentioned here. How we wish we can do more. I got a reply quite similar to what you rcvd when I needed help with an abandoned dog. Feel so sick when they r supposed to be the ppl who saves and house. Nothing they can do. I hope when PASS 'comes up' things will be different for the voiceless. PASS is currently trying to get as many members (to help advocate their No-Kill Policy) Can you join please and lend a hend? An extra pair of hands will be of great help. If u r interested,Pls call : 04-2645717. Best wishes.

Miracle Progress "Lucian's health continues on it's gradual upward swing. His organ function is normal and his blood levels continue to improve. Today he did take his first wobbly step, with minimal support, before he had to sit back down! It's a small, but momentous, milestone. His brother, although continually frustrated in his at...tempts to chase the clinic cats is still happy and in improving health". Our prayers are being answered

Oh yes, not a problem. Once PASS shelter is operational, i will be there to help out the furry ones in any way possible. As i've mentioned earlier, i'm helping out a lot of strays on my own now and that keeps me busy. Once the shelter is built, many strays out there can be housed. Devi

Great News! Lucian is up and about and able to take dry food. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Lisa Wood who treated him and most importantly all the prayers from worldwide were channeled towards his speedy recovery. Just when this episode is about to end, the clinic received another abuse case where the owners hacked their dog with a bat and ran over it with their car. It's fate is yet to be determined b'cos it is a biting dog. Cruel people all over the world!!! No feelings at all. Devi

Hi Devi
U r so sweet to keep everyone here informed of Lucian's progress. TQVM Besides me I think my readers wl b so happy that Lucian is recovering well. Don't we wish we hv someone like Dr Lisa Woods over here 4 our animals too, eh? Coming to the gross case, r these humans u just described? How in the world can ppl think of such acts? What shall we pray wl happen to them...We'll let their karma take over frm here. All d best 2 u and take care.:o)

Well, i just love these animals and keep browsing the internet to see the outcome of such abuse cases. I even join in the petition site to voice my opinion. Well this abused 5 year old Rottweiler (named Smokey) was reported to be an aggressive dog and does not have the temperament to be a pet. I have kept GSDs and this breed too. Poor Smokey might be euthanised but people are trying to save it and get it sent to a pet sanctuary. I pray for him.
It all depends on how we keep them. They need a lot of interaction so that they get used to people. Do not just tie them or keep them in cages all day long. Even a human can go mad without interaction. I still remember some years back a Rottweiler LeRoc was euthanised too. Really sad when this happens. DEVI

Oh ya, forgot to update on Lucian. He is doing fine in his foster home (at night) and clinic (daytime). He's getting lots of love and care. It seems he just loves that. The other two dogs with him Lumos and Chocolate underwent surgery (neuter/spay) and are ready for adoption. The authorities are really vetting through the adoption list to get them a good home indeed. God is great for answering everyone's prayer. DEVI

Hi Devi, TQ so much 4 d updates on Lucian, Lumos n Chocolate. U r really sweet to keep e/one here informed. We pray these 3 wl find good homes. They r really lucky to hv a good vet and foster 'parents'. Coming to the Rottie, there r ppl who think nothing of the dogs' welfare when they decide on the breed, no? Rottie's were once a favourite of my family. I actually adore these breed but hv since 'retired' from them. Too big a breed 4 me now. Where is Smokey housed? Care to send the petition to me? My email is found on my profile. Wud b nice to stay in touch wif u. Look so forward to seeing you in PASS. All d best n take good care whilst caring 4 those animals out there, k? Oh yah, God is great in answering everyone's prayers dis I do agree. :o)
